Most of us knew that the Bush administration had to have been involved (not in a good way) in the Georgia/Russia debacle. How close did we come to war with Russia? Had Georgia been in NATO (which the Bush administration has been strongly pushing) we would have been contractually compelled to declare war on Russia when they invaded.
Was it this “level” of support or some thing else that lead the Georgians to push the Russians? Did Bush want US/Russian tension to improve McCain’s chances? This post clarifies things.
Do we really want warmongers inciting unnecessary danger in an already dangerous world? Do we really think they are smart and subtle enough to deal with issues like India/Pakistan?
